His clinical decisions are guided by the evidence / researched information. In his patient-centred practise he is well know for listening to his patients and giving them a thorough examination. He finds out exactly what they need and designs a program of safe, gentle and effective care that suits their individual needs. Because patients have many different personal factors underlying their problems, best management requires informing / educating patients and respecting their preferences. We care for the person not just their pain.

Chiropractic care has been commonly associated with the treatment of low back pain, neck pain and headaches.  Patrick, however, takes a whole body approach, considering the interactions between different parts of the body and provides care for all joints, ligaments, tendons, fascia and muscles including the TMJ, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, chest wall, hips, knees, feet and ankles.

Over the years Patrick has been involved in competitive ice hockey, soccer and beach volleyball as a player, trainer and coach. Currently Patrick’s preferred form of exercise is the Argentinean Tango. He has a first hand understanding and a special interest in the mechanics and psychology of high level sport and dance and of the mechanisms of sports injuries. He understands that most people need more than an adjustment or a manipulation. They often need and are provided with some soft tissue therapy, education, and rehabilitation exercises.

His practice focus is on restoring function and reducing pain. Subsequently, in addition to chiropractic manipulations the practice offers a range of treatments including Western Acupuncture, kinesiology taping, ultrasound and exercise prescription. The practice supplies different sizes of contoured latex pillows to facilitate restful sleep, lumbar supports to ease pain while sitting and the use of a state of the art high tech computerized scanner for the prescription of custom made Foot Leveler, Spinal Pelvic Stabilizer orthotics support for your feet and spine while standing.
